What is Suboxone®?

Suboxone® is a medication used to help treat opioid addiction. It combines a smaller dose of buprenorphine, a commonly-used treatment for opioid addiction, with a small amount of naloxone, an opioid blocker that helps wean people off of opioids when the medication is no longer needed. When used together, these two become a highly effective treatment for opioid addiction.

Suboxone® is a brand name owned by Indivior UK.

How We Help You Deal With Opioid Addiction

Vertical Treatment Centers uses a combination of Suboxone® and mental health counseling to help people overcome opioid addiction once and for all. Our addiction treatment center is one of the only Suboxone® clinics in South Carolina that offers a full range of mental health services for a variety of issues.

Our approach is judgment-free, stigma-free, and evidence-based. We see addiction through the lens of mental health, not as a moral failure. We are committed to helping you overcome your addiction and live a healthy, fulfilling life.

Not all opioid addictions are the same. Some patients will opt not to use Suboxone®, and that’s perfectly fine! We don’t prescribe Suboxone® to all patients, and we don’t ever pressure anyone to use it.
